The Client

Savannah Low, a Dallas native, is working on her latest EP and as a precursor felt it best to shoot a music video for her cover of I Did Something Bad by Taylor Swift. Savannah knew what she wanted, so she brought in the team of talented artists around her to make it all possible.

The Shoot

The setting took place in a warehouse in Deep Ellum that is about to undergo renovations. Luckily, the environment we sought was raw and unencumbered. Knowing that we were wanting the vibe of the video to have a VIP lounge, we went to MLD Video to check out their new Gemini LED panels by LitePanels to get full RGB spectrum. The truly unique feature on these light though, is the ability to have the lights in Gel Mode. This allows you to set the color balance to either Daylight or Tungsten and "overlay" any real-world gel. For this shoot we went with Rosco Gels R48 Rose Purple and R95 Medium Blue Green.
